Simone Forti is a postmodern American choreographer and musician. Throughout her career she became known for a style of dancing and choreography that was largely based on basic everyday movements. Forti first performed at The Kitchen in 1975. Most recently, in 1997, Forti performed at The Kitchen in conjunction with the Improvisational Dance Festival.
