Karole Armitage

Karole Armitage is an American dancer and choreographer currently based in New York City. She is Artistic Director of Armitage Gone! Dance, a contemporary ballet company. At The Kitchen, Armitage presented a program of three landmark dances from the ’80s: Drastic Classicism, The Watteau Duets, and Wild Thing, as well as the premieres of Do We Could in 1979 and Mashup in 2009.
