Carole Ann Klonarides
Carole Ann Kolarides is a curator, writer, and video art producer. She and artist Michael Owen worked closely together as MICA-TV to create video portraits of artists during the 1980s including Cindy Sherman, Laurie Simmons, and Richard Prince. Kolarides went on to work as a curator at the Long Beach Museum of Art and Santa Monica Museum of Art. In 1983 Klonarides and Owen created the video, R.M. Fischer: An Industrial, which was an ironic study of R.M. Fisher’s lamp sculptures. This work was shown at The Kitchen in the Extant Work film series in 1988.
