Ben Vautier

Ben Vautier is a French artist who lives and works in Nice, where he ran a record shop called Magazin between 1958 and 1973. He was interested in the music of John Cage and worked within the Fluxus movement of the 1960s. He is active in Mali-Art and is mostly known for his text-based paintings. He contributed to the piece ‘Good Morning Mr. Orwell.’
