Steve Reich is an American composer who is a pioneering composer of minimal music. In April 2009, Reich was awarded the Pulitzer prize in Music for his composition 'Double Sextet'. Since 1975, Reich has performed solo work, work in accompaniment, and with his band Steve Reich and the Musicians at The Kitchen.
