David Byrne is a musician who co-founded the group Talking Heads (1976–88) in New York, which first performed at The Kitchen in 1976. Since then, Bryrne has had a diverse career in music, art, and writing often in collaboration with other artists, musicians, and dancers. The Kitchen honored David Byrne at its gala in 2010.
