Born in 1944, Joe Celli is an American composer and musician specializing in improvisational and contemporary music for the oboe and the English horn. Celli has worked with Jin Hi Kim, John Cage, Ornette Coleman, Phill Niblock, Alvin Curran, Pointless Orchestra, Roberto Carnevale and the Kronos Quartet, among others. Celli performed at The Kitchen in 1979 as part of New Music New York.
