Jon Hassell

Jon Hassell is a composer and trumpeter, and the creator of a style of music he has named Fourth World. His trumpet performances show up on records of stars like Bjork, Babba Maal, and Ibrahim Ferrer. Along with ongoing concerts and new recording, Hassel has recently wrote a book, The North and South of You. Hassle participated in The Kitchen event New Music, New York in 1979.
