Peter Zummo is an American composer and musician, primarily playing the trombone, but also the valve trombone, euphonium, and synthesizer. He is a core member of the DownTown Ensemble, and his music has explored the borders between free jazz, post-minimalism, and classical chamber music. He often played with Arthur Russell at The Kitchen, and participated in 1979's New Music, New York festival.
