Garrett List is an American trombonist, vocalist and composer. Since the early 1970's, he has been associated with Musica Elettronica Viva (MEV), a live electronic and improvisation ensemble which was founded by Frederic Rzewski, Alvin Curran, Richard Teitelbaum. Starting in the earliest days of The Kitchen, List regularly performed solo pieces and in ensembles from 1972-1980. He was musical director of The Kitchen from 1975-77.
