Joan Logue is an American artist who works primarily in video portraiture. She originated the video portrait in 1971 and since then created hundreds of portraits for installations. She is perhaps most famous for her series called 30 Second Portraits (Spots) that profiled artists living in New York including Laurie Anderson, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Bill T.
