Gary Hill is a video art pioneer who has exhibited his work worldwide. He is well-known for his early innovations with video technology and his exploration of language's relationship to phenomenology. Hill presented his early video and installation work at The Kitchen during the 1970s, and later collaborated with choreographer Meg Stuart in 1998.
