Martha Rosler

Martha Rosler is a Brooklyn based artist. She works in video, photo, text, installation, and performance, as well as writing about art and culture. Rosler’s work focuses on everyday life and the public sphere, often with an eye to women's affect. Her film "Semiotics of The Kitchen" has screened at The Kitchen several times starting in 1975 and she has performed and lectured at The Kitchen live.
