Anne Tardos is a French artist, poet, composer, and professor based in New York. She began showing work in 1971 and continues to publish. Her poetry is multilingual and often presented with other media. She has published several books of poetry and collaborated with Jackson Mac Low until his death in 2008. She has presented at The Kitchen’s Video Arts Festival in 1973, Soup and Tart in 1974, and Hybrid Nights in 1995 and 1996. Her multi-channel video work, Apple Eaters, premiered at the Kitchen in 1971, was restored and edited into a one-channel version in 2004 by the Kitchen. It is distributed by Electronic Arts Intermix.
