Enver Chakartash is a costume designer and member of The Wooster Group, a company of artists, performers, and designers who are based out of The Performing Garage at 33 Wooster Street, New York City. Chakartash’s design credits include Young Jean Lee’s Straight White Men, Eliza Bent’s Toilet Fire: Rectums in the Rectory, and The Wooster Group’s presentation of Harold Pinter’s The Room. In 2015, he designed the costumes for Tina Satter’s Ancient Lives, which premiered at The Kitchen. In 2017, he led a zine-making workshop alongside Hanna Lea Novak and Naomi Raddatz as part of The Kitchen’s two-week open performance and colloquy Half Straddle: Here I Go, pt. 2 of You.
