Emily Davis is a New York City-based artist and performer who has appeared in numerous plays and independent films. Theatrical acting credits include Alex Borinsky’s Of Government, Jess Barbagallo’s My Old Man, and Casey Llewellyn’s O, Earth. Film acting credits include Matt Ott’s Ovum, Andre Simkiss’s The Amy Character, and Erin Vassiliopoulus’s Valeria. She is a frequent collaborator with the Obie Award-winning performance ensemble Half Straddle, and in 2015, Davis acted in Ancient Lives—an experimental play that premiered at The Kitchen and was written by Half Straddle’s artistic director Tina Satter. In 2017, she participated in The Kitchen’s two-week open work period Half Straddle: Here I Go, pt. 2 of You by giving a talk about her brother John Davis’s work entitled "John Davis: For All I Know."
