Naomi Raddatz is a New York-based make-up artist who has worked with an extraordinarily diverse clientelle, including the performance groups Half Straddle and The Wooster Group, artworld mainstays Hyperallergic and the Whitney Museum of American art, and numerous celebrities and private clients. Beginning her career as a costume designer, Raddatz moved into the domain of make-up in order to more completely bring characters to life. In 2017, she led a zine-making workshop alongside Hanna Lea Novak and Enver Chakartash as part of The Kitchen’s two-week open performance and colloquy Half Straddle: Here I Go, pt. 2 of You.
