FILMWORKS '82

FILMWORKS was a series conceived in 1978 by curator Leonardo Katz with the purpose of showing films by both established and emerging filmmakers and drawing attention to avant-garde American cinema. The 1982 edition of the festival was curated by filmmaker and critic Amy Taubin and featured artists such as Charles Atlas, Bruce Conner, Vivienne Dick, Laura Mulvey, and Peter Wollen.
