Tina Satter
Tina Satter is a director and playwright based in Brooklyn, NY. Her plays often depict supernatural worlds in which she explores themes related to adolescence, femininity, and the queer experience. In 2008, Satter founded and became the artistic director of the Obie Award-winning performance ensemble Half Straddle, which has performed a number of her plays. She has been a frequent contributor to The Kitchen Lab series and her 2015 piece Ancient Lives premiered in The Kitchen’s theater.
