Girl Gone

Postcard_BigDanceTheater_GirlGone_1999

Originating from a script and storyline tailor-made for Big Dance Theater by Mac Wellman, Girl Gone follows three “sisters” as they verbally and intellectually attempt to escape to an alternate reality. Through the direction of Paul Lazar, the choreography by Annie-B Parson, and the music of Cynthia Hopkins, Girl Gone explores the human mind's attempt and failure to construct a better world, even if only a mental one.
