Shelly Mars

Shelly Mars is an established performance artist who is best known for her monologues and depictions of queer culture and feminist values. As one of the first “drag kings” of the late 1980s, Mars appeared in several TV specials and films including the HBO special Drag Kings, and the independent documentary Venus Boyz.
