Alva Rogers is an artist, playwright and singer. In 1987, Rogers was given a development grant from The Kitchen. In 1992, she wrote and performed in "We Could Be Sheroes" and performed in Laurie Anderson's "Untitled blue-dot dancer" at the 20th Anniversary Benefit Celebration of The Kitchen.
