Tere O'Connor has created over 35 dance works for his company. He is the winner of three Bessie awards, including one for FROZEN MOMMY, which premiered at The Kitchen in December 2004. FROZEN MOMMY includes an original musical score by O’Connor and his collaborator James Baker incorporates the dancer’s voices into the piece. O’Connor is a recipient of a 1993 Guggenheim Fellowship and a 2009 United States Artist Rockefeller Fellow, among many other prestigious awards.
