RoseAnne Spradlin is a New York City-based choreographer whose daring works pursue a heightened consciousness of body and individual sexuality. Spradlin has received numerous awards for her choreography including the United States Artist's Ford Fellowship in Dance, the Fellowship in Choreography from the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Guggenheim Fellowship in Choreography. She has also been presented with the Artist Award from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts as well as with a New York Bessie Award. Spradlin has been an active presence at The Kitchen ever since her appearance in the 1995 presentation event for the Dance in Progress series and since then she has gone on to premiere five works.
