Lee Quiñones

Lee Quiñones is graffiti artist. Part of the the writing crew The Fabulous 5, Quiñones covered subway cars with graffiti and is credited with disseminating what became an iconic style. He worked with Fab 5 Freddy on performance projects and went on to create backdrops for The Rock Steady Crew, Blondie, and others. Quiñones was one of the first artists to transition to works on canvas and his pieces are now in the collections of several museums.
