John Moran
John Moran is a composer, choreographer and author. Often considered a protégé of composer Philip Glass, Moran began his career with the debut of his first opera, Jack Benny at La MaMa theater in 1989. Morgan's work generally emphasizes interactions between sound and movement, and dancers and actors are often asked to perform silently to edited voiced and sound effects. Moran contributed a piece to The Kitchen's Burp: Soup and Tart Revisited in 1991.
