Charlotte Moorman

Charlotte Moorman was an American cellist and performance artist engaged in avant-garde music practices. She was the founder of the Annual Avant Garde Festival in New York. She performed at The Kitchen several times in the 1970’s with video artists such as Jackie Cassen and Nam June Paik and other sound artists such as Yoshi Wada.
