Carmen Beuchat

Carmen Beuchat is a post-modern dancer and choreographer from Santiago, Chile. In 1972 after studying dance with Trisha Brown for years, Beauchat founded the experimental dance group, the Natural History of the American Dancer. This all female group focused on validating improvised dance as a medium. Beuchat performed her own choreography at The Kitchen in 1975 during 3 Dances by Carmen Beuchat.
