Sean Dack is an artist based in New York. His multidisciplinary work in photography, sound, sculpture, installation, video and digital media constitutes his greater exploration of society’s relationship to technology. His photographic method digitally warps the integrity of images, revealing flaws and failures of technology resulting in unexpected outcomes that often touch upon the well-established, but nonetheless surprising ability of a photograph to unfaithfully present reality. His practice is informed by his early experimentation in photography at Columbia University, where he became enthralled by the role chance played in the development of photos. Dack’s work was included in the 2008 exhibition The Future as Disruption at The Kitchen. For more information please visit: http://www.seandack.net/
