In 2013, cellist Sonia Wieder-Atheron performed Odyssey for Cello and Imaginary Choir. The work was the final piece in a triptych that began with the piece Songs from the East, which accompanied Chantal Akerman's eponymous 1993 film. This performance was presented in conjunction with Akerman's 2013 exhibition Maniac Shadows at The Kitchen.
