From May 29–31, 2014, The Kitchen presented Jen Rosenblit's first evening-length choreographed work, entitled a Natural Dance. While choreographed, a Natural Dance located "logic outside of a normative lens, looking to an improvisatory system for disrupting behavior while ushering in the glory of absurdity, timing, meaning, sequence, divinity, and the political." It was performed by Addys Gonzalez, Justin Cabrillos, Effie Bowen, Hilary Clark, and Jen Rosenblit with lighting design by Elliott Jenetopulos and set construction by Sam Roeck.
