This exhibition was a collaboration between David Miko’s mixed media paintings and Tom Thayer’s stop-motion animations, which were projected atop the paintings. The paintings functioned as screens for the projections, creating an immersive experience telling the story of a hunter, his dog, and the pig they are hunting over a barren landscape. The intersection of video and painting lent viewers new ways to look at the mediums.
