Fawn Krieger is a sculpture and installation artist who lives and works in New York City. While her work is often comprised of architectural environments and sculpture pieces that reference the body, her practice also includes textiles. Her expanded notion of sculpture is in part performative as it often relies on activation by a participant through wearing or interacting with the objects. Krieger has exhibited work extensively, most notably with the solo exhibition Company (2007) at Art In General. In 2005 she presented her work at The Kitchen in a collaboration with Wynne Greenwood, their project Room was an immersive installation that also functioned as a performance space.
