Ann Lislegaard is a Norwegian artist based in Copenhagen and New York. She works with photography, architecture, drawing, 3D film animations and sound-light installations to explore the nature of human perception, challenging her viewer’s sensory abilities. Often taking an alternative approach to language, narration, gender roles and concepts of the future, Lislegaard examines how the world influences our consciousness and self-image, driven by questions surrounding how we experience and orientate ourselves in space and time, both mentally and physically. Lislegaard’s work was included in The Kitchen’s 2008 exhibition, The Future As Disruption. For more information please visit: http://lislegaard.com/
