Sarko was best known as a DJ at the Mudd Club and the Rock Lounge. Starting her career at radio stations and continuing it by working various spinning gigs, Sarko was hailed by the New York Times as "THE QUEEN OF THE DISCOTHEQUE DEEJAYS."
