Comme Toujours Here I Stand

Comme Toujours Here I Stand is Big Dance Theater's creative re-imagination of Agnès Varda's film Cleo from 5 to 7, telling the story of a pop singer who fearfully awaits the verdict on a medical examination. Re-presenting this New Wave classic in a novel synthesis of dance, film, and text, Big Dance Theater mediates trauma and fear of death in its depiction of the delightful distractions of daily life.
