In 1979, the Kipper Kids returned to The Kitchen with Silly Ceremonies, an evening of deviant performance incorporating song, food fights, and other lewd behavior. The Village Voice claimed this show to be slightly tamer and less violent than the duo's earlier works, while still maintaining their very serious approach.
