John Cale is an influential Welsh musician, composer and one of the founding members of the experimental rock band The Velvet Underground. He has collaborated with artists including John Cage, La Monte Young, Terry Riley, and Patti Smith among many others. He performed at The Kitchen in 1982, presenting the work Convergence with Bob Neuwirth.
