Geoff Matters is a performing artist who explores the role for technology in music and movement. Matters uses a variety of instruments, physical controllers, and a software that he innovated called “GDAM” to realize an interactive style of music and dance. He founded the Share, which is an open jam session for audio and video artists to collaborate. Matters, also known through the aliases GeoffGDAM and Lance Blisters, composes and performs his own electronic and noise music using his custom software. Matters appeared at The Kitchen in the multimedia performance piece Dance Without Bodies with frequent co-collaborator Koosil-ja in December 2006.
