In this 1983 exhibition, Smith continued to explore the human body through X-Ray and CAT scan imaging, microscopic photography, and recordings of the coronary,  respiratory, and gastrointestinal systems. The tight focus of these scientific portraits of the human form directly contrasted with the psychological distance suggested by satellite images of Earth, prompting viewers to address the boundary between internal and external functions and their role in our psychological lives.
