Across four days in fall 1982 (October 30–31 and November 6–7, 1982), Bauhaus Dances, a dance performance by Oskar Schlemmer took place at The Guggenheim Museum. With the help of choreographer and dance historian Debra McCall, Bauhaus Dances was reconstructed. Produced by The Kitchen, the dances went on to tour the U.S., Europe (including the first international Biennale de la Danse in Lyon), and Japan.
