From April 1–4, 1993, SPEW/New York presented a series of queer, feminist films and videos at The Kitchen. On April 1st, “Revenge of Our Fanzine Friends,” curated by Glenn Belverio, featured Shit and Run by Killer and Butch Productions, The Ferris of Them All by Annie Stanley, Girl Power by Sadie Benning, Fertile LaToyah Jackson and the Video Magazine by Rick Castro, Home Movies by Bruce LaBruce and Candyland Productions, The Girls in the Band by Candyland Productions, To Pay in the 90s by Andy Fair, Shred O’ Sex by Greta Snider, The Bredna and Glennda Show by Sexual Orgasm Productions, and Channel 69 by William Comstock. On April 3rd, "Skinology," curated Glenn Belverio, Chris Teen, and Bruce LaBruce, featured Untitled by Suzie Silver and Steve Lafreniere, Caress by John Lindell, selected clips of skinhead porn courtesy of Bruce LaBruce and John G. Byrne, Underground by Peter deRome, Mumbo Jumbo by Peter deRome, and clips from The Night Before, Lefthanded, Drive, Wanted: Billy the Kid, and Baghdad. Also on April 3rd, "Catfight" curated by Chris Teen and Glenn Belverio, featured Catflight: just when you thought it was safe to be a feminist by Chris Teen and Glenn Belverio, Portrait of a Sexual Evolutionary by Veronica Vera, Street Walker Fashions by LaToyah Jackson, and The Bitches by Richard Kern.
