In 2011, Jennie C. Jones presented her solo exhibition Absorb/Diffuse at The Kitchen (curated by Matthew Lyons). The exhibition's highlight was “From the Low,” an original score sampling music and historical recordings from American jazz, orchestral compositions, and modern electronica. The show also featured various drawings, collages, and sculptural paintings made with diffuser panels.
