Thulani Davis wrote See Tee's New Blues as a meditation on the relationship between women and their work. Davis delivered “They Call Me the Longshoreman of LOVE,” “Second Avenue Mogul,” and “Make-Up Person” on a stage-turned-workspace. She was accompanied by live music performed by Anthony Davis, Henry Threadgill, Joseph Jarman, and Abdul Wadud.
