Joachim Koester
Joachim Koester is a Danish conceptual artist working between Copenhagen and New York. Working primarily in photography and video, his research-based projects blur the line between documentary and fiction. Koester has investigated a variety of topics ranging from psycho-geographical sites to ritualized performances, intertwining historical narratives and diverse psychologies. In 2005, Koester had an exhibition with Matthew Buckingham at The Kitchen, which was curated by Debra Singer.
