G. Hovagimyan is a multimedia artist working across genres including video, digital media, and performance. He worked in Soho throughout the 1970s, notably collaborating with Richard Serra and Gordon Matta-Clarke on several performance pieces. He went on to be one of the first artists to work in digital media and the internet in the early 1990s. On February 18, 1975 he showed "Tactics for Survival in the New Culture" at The Kitchen.
