Anthony Braxton
Anthony Braxton is an American composer, musician, and philosopher. He has created pieces that are inspired by both the jazz avant-garde and bebop traditions. He performed at the Kitchen in 1977 at the event A Woodwind Concert, and later in 1982, he performed the piece Composition 98 at the serial event, Composers’ Concerts at Symphony Space.
