Mezzo-soprano Alicia Hall Moran is a New-York based, multi-dimensional performing artist and vocalist whose expansive repertoire spans jazz, contemporary composition, opera, and theater. Moran made her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning revival of the Gershwins' Porgy and Bess. Since then, she has been an artist in residence at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, MASS MoCA, and National Sawdust. Her first album is titled Heavy Blue and features collaborations with Mary Halvorson, Brandon Ross, and Jason Moran. Moran has continually collaborated with Jason Moran, producing performance work that was presented at both the Venice and Whitney Biennials in 2016.
