Froufrou Conclusions

Photo: David Allison

Froufrou Conclusions was the first New York solo exhibition by Houston-based, video artist Lauren Kelley, in which she premiered her latest installments of an ongoing series of short-stop-animation videos and collages. These works by Kelley commented on matters of sexuality and race, and explored the gap between well-groomed exteriors and internal disorder with an emphasis on the use of sound and a set of computer-generated drawings and collages. This exhibition was curated by Rashida Bumbray.
