The Stars Below

Photo: David Allison

The Stars Below, commissioned by The Kitchen, was Joe Winter’s first solo exhibition. It continued his study of how commonplace systems of technology and communication relate to space, time, and place. In this work, Winter reconfigured office and school materials with mechanisms that instigated gently destructive actions, echoing geological processes. This show was curated by Matthew Lyons.
